INGREDIENTS: SINGLE PORTION
100g PENNE PASTA
1 tbsp.     EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
1 clove     GARLIC
1 tbsp.    ONIONS
2 tbsp.     TOMATO SAUCE
3 pcs.      CHERRY TOMATOES
50g          TUNA IN OIL
SALT AND PEPPER OR RED CHILI
PARSLEY AS NEEDED

PROCEDURE:
  1. BRING THE WATER TO BOIL FOR THE PASTA
  2. IN A PAN, HEAT UP THE OIL, BROWN THE GARLIC, THEN ADD THE FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS, STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY FOR SOME MINUTES. ADD THE TOMATO SAUCE, FRESH CHERRY TOMATOES, TUNA IN OIL AND SOME PARSLEY. THEN, SALT AND BLACK PEPPER.
  3. PLACE THE PASTA IN THE SALTED BOILING WATER AND COOK FOR 7 MIN. OR AS INDICATED IN THE PACKAGE.
  4. WHEN PASTA IS COOKED, TOSS THE PASTA IN THE PAN WITH TUNA SAUCE. SERVE WITH ANOTHER SPRINKLE OF FRESH PARSLEY AND BLACK PEPPER.


NOTE:
In this recipe, you can also use the fresh tuna, but adding it after the onions. In my kitchen, I always use the one in the can that I have available anytime. After browning the garlic, I always take it out of the pan to avoid serving it to others who don't like garlic.
